WE'VE BEEN INVITED...AGAIN!

One Kings Lane is not the only "other" place you'll be able to find us! Marcy Cowan, owner of taste, a local culinary arts shoppe, will be featuring Lolo French Antiques et More in her seasonal pop-up store located on the second floor of Phipps Plaza, just above Tiffany's.

Marcy's love of fresh and flavorful ingredients, fine cooking, pragmatic, beautiful cookware, lovely tabletops and fine French antiques made it easy to say "yes" when she invited us to showcase antiques with her high-end gourmet, kitchen and tabletop items, many of them imported from France.

Our antique furniture, chandeliers, copper pots, oyster plates and other culinary items will be for sale alongside local Georgia products, hand-loomed Tunisian tablecloths, Italian earthenware bean pots,  unique cooking utensils, French-made aprons, gourmet gift baskets and cookbooks signed by local chefs/authors. Everything for the cook and the sous chef, the gourmand and the gourmet can be found.

If you are trying to find the perfect gift for your favorite food lover, be sure and stop by taste. Tell them Lolo sent you and receive a 10% discount on purchases over $200.

And if you need something for the wine lover on your list, we'll have that this holiday season. Lolo spent the morning at a local flea market where he found this hand forged wine cage with 250 fitted slots for wine bottle storage and a pair of hinged doors with a locking clasp to secure priceless vintages. It will look fabulous utilized anywhere from a wine cellar to a gourmet kitchen. The aged patina only adds to its charm, making this unique item the perfect gift for the wine lover in your life.

WE'VE BEEN INVITED!

We're so excited! After returning home from a long, hot but very productive show in Round Top, where we made new friends and caught up with old ones, we received an email from One Kings Lane asking us to participate in their Vintage & Market Finds. They had stopped by our booth in Round Top and "absolutely" loved our things!

While Lolo is searching flea markets, boot sales, shops and warehouses in France over the next two weeks, I'll be busy choosing, photographing, measuring and weighing items to be listed in our first sale. As soon as we know the dates, we'll let you know. We will feature our wonderful selection of French antiques, as well as a variety of accessories and gift items...just in time for the holidays!

Antique French Vaisselier

This will be the last buying trip of the year, so remember to "Let Lolo Know" if you are in need of a particular piece. Pictures will be posted daily as he sources unique finds, rare items and cherished treasures across the French countryside. Be sure and check to see if he stumbles upon that special something you can't live without that gives you a glimpse into French everyday life in years past.

Blue Lobster from the Brittany Coast

And his mom has already told him she'll have blue lobster for him this trip. More about this delicious French lobster later. Lucky Lolo!
